Capital Cause Celebrates National Philanthropy Month

WASHINGTON, DC November 2013 – November is National Philanthropy Month, and DC’s premiere organization for young philanthropists, Capital Cause is celebrating with a movie night, a recognition ceremony and most importantly, a service day with the US Dream Academy.
On Tuesday, November 12, through a partnership with Universal Pictures, young philanthropists will enjoy a screening of Best Man Holiday. On Thursday, November 21, Capital Cause will host the 4th Annual Changemakers Reception, an event that honors young adults in the DC region who are committed to public service and young philanthropy. Finally, on Saturday, November 23, volunteers will teach youth from the US Dream Academy about philanthropy. Capital Cause’s mission to engage young generations in philanthropy will be realized with an even younger group at this event.
