15 Young Philanthropists volunteered to support “day-of” logistics planning for the AIDS Walk Washington! Together they cheered walkers, handed out water and assisted with clean-up. Their efforts supported the Whitman-Walker Clinic (organizers of the AIDS Walk) raise $1 million dollars by effectively engaging donors. The Nation’s Next Trailblazers Reception convened leaders, young professionals, trailblazers and trendsetters for a unique reception during the historic Congressional Black Caucus Foundation week. Not only did this reception provide an opportunity for the nation’s next leaders to network with people from various professional, educational and geographical backgrounds, but it was also an opportunity to connect with nonprofit leaders from 15 of the nation’s leading organizations.
