Men Who Mentor:  Young Philanthropists Give Back at Thurgood Marshall Academy

(February 12, 2013) Young Philanthropists, Corey Ponder (left) and Garret James (right), participated in a mentoring program at Thurgood Marshall Academy designed to engage students in the arts and celebrate the 1920s cultural movements. The program – Celebrating Our Roots – engaged students through dance workshops, student performances, and an art walk where students participated in live art demonstrations. The photo on the far left is of a 14-year old student who sang the classic Etta James song “At Last,” receiving a standing ovation. Listen to her rendition HERE.

Kudos to our Young Philanthropists and #MenWhoMentor who are committed to donating their five service hours to #Give4Good.
