RECAP: Young Philanthropists Serve on CC Pipeline Project | #NPM2013

On November 23, 2013, during National Philanthropy Month in November.  In partnership with the US Dream Academy, Capital Cause educates 3rd, 4th and 5th graders about philanthropy. During this activity, 21 young philanthropists created interactively-themed games and videos to educate young kids about philanthropy.

For the video, young philanthropists filmed three scenes showing children how to give their time, talent and treasure as philanthropists.

For the interactive giving game, young philanthropists created Philan-thro-pardy (a nod to Jeopardy) that asked kids questions about philanthropy and challenged them to think about what giving means to them.

For the charitable activity, young philanthropists created a board game.  For every answer young philanthropists answered correctly, they advance a space to win “the Giving Game.”
