(March 23, 2013) This weekend 25 Young Philanthropists signed up for five Giving Circles Projects. Giving Circles Projects are short-term, high-impact service initiatives that team up Young Philanthropists to crowd-fund grants to nonprofits and crowd-source skills to address community concerns. Out of the 25, fifteen will raise $6,000 to fund three nonprofit grants to the Homeless Playtime Children’s Project ($2,000), the Institute for Student Health ($2,000), and the Potomac Lighthouse Charter School ($2,000).
